Lost

The malevolent mist shrouded the valley. As the robot boy from the planet Roag sobbed, the birds sang solemn tunes saying Bon voyage to the valley. The clouds wept in sorrow for the poor boy. As he drooped his shoulders, he fixated his melancholy gaze. Like the last tree in a grove, he sat alone to contemplate his sadness. The wind morosely blew along carrying the woeful news of him losing his mother.
Could his day be any better? They were coming back from a toy store with a great toy. Suddenly, a throng of people came since they were on a parade. But, his mum didn’t meet his gaze. Oh no! The boy (who was nine years old)was petrified. What would he do without his mother?
He was stranded. An ocean of depression bombarded and left him sinking in a pool of desolation and despair. Quickly, he sprang up from the uncomfortable boulder, he had an idea! If he managed to get home, he might find his mother.
He trudged onward. His house was five miles away but through the woods it was only three. His legs were exhausted but he was Duracell bunny on a double espresso so he proceeded with the plan of going through the woods. He was panting hard and shivering throughout the three miles in the woods.
Snap! Snap! The twigs were breaking behind him. What could it be? The treacherous woods could be hiding any devilish demons and he had been told by his mother to never go in there but he had to get home.
He sprinted through the forest like a raccoon being chased by a panther, but, as he approached his house, he felt as though his parents weren’t there. No lights on, no smell of food. Nothing. Then his Mum advanced towards him. “Mum!”shrieked the boy in ecstasy. His Mum then calmly said with a beaming grin on her face,”Let’s go for a walk and you can tell me what adventure you’ve been on.”
Suddenly, a throng of people came since they were on a parade, but, his Mum didn’t meet his gaze. Oh no! He was lost, again!
